| What is the cost? Our flat fee of $1150.00 with children or $950.00 without children covers your cost from initial intake until an agreement is made. Costs include everything expect filing fees. Do I need a lawyer? No, an attorney is not required. Our mediators are certified by the Supreme Court of Florida and can complete the entire process without the high cost of an attorney. Although this is not a necessary step, we advise all clients to have their finial mediated agreement reviewed by an attorney. Is mediation confidential? Information received by the mediator is considered privileged and confidential, with few exceptions. Parties can also choose to have separate mediation rooms. Information obtained about the other party can only be disclosed with that party’s permission. |
